Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
This
building was a new build during the early 90's, but one of the section was left
incomplete due to funding.
This section included the installation of two lifts and was completed in early 2000.
The two lifts were designed for a combination of passenger, goods and disabled access.
One lift is a 13 person/1000Kg serving two floors. The lift is a hydraulic unit with a single ram located at the side of the lift car. The lift car is suspended on steel rope over the ram head.
The other lift is a 21 person / 1600Kg capacity serving three floors. The lift is a hydraulic unit with twin rams located to the sides of the lift car. As with the other lift the car is suspended on steel ropes.
